well, i've been to many typical mid class houses around bacolod city
for a while and its been interesting to foreigners how a typical illongo
bathroom may look like, so I grabbed a few shots of a typical
mid-classed illongo bathroom.
like all Filipino style bathrooms in manila, illongo bathrooms are of the same
style, they have bath area and the bath area includes some necessities like
the usual bucket and dipper. also this bathroom is equipped with a shower
and electric water heater, if the owner wants to have a cozy hot water bath!
hey but still! they wont use the shower! they lead the hot water into the bucket!
illongos like all other filipinos like to splash large amounts of water, say get all!
center edifice from the toilet flush tank they got everything above it!
tissue dispenser at the right, some few cosmetics like petroleum jelly
hair treatment formula, toothbrushes and sachets of shampoo.
well I hope you feel comfortable in an illongo style bathroom! because this
kind is what every family around san juan and dawis street look forward to
have in their houses..
